Exciting new role for a Duty Manager Bar/Restaurant – North Leeds location – West Yorkshire – Growing Independent Group

Package: £20,000 – paid hourly

The Recruitment Room is working with this popular and busy Bar/Restaurant operator looking to recruit a Duty Manager at Supervisor level to join the friendly management team in North Leeds, West Yorkshire. This property is part of a small but growing independent group of bar/restaurants in West Yorkshire.

Responsibilities for this Duty Manager/Supervisor for Leeds include:

  • Managing team of bar tenders and floor staff.
  • HR responsibilities including recruitment, training and development of staff.
  • Daily Stock Control and full weekly audit.
  • Daily and weekly reconciliation of sales/ end of week/ payroll.
  • Achieving GP% and wage% targets for the business through effective controls and management.

The ideal Duty Manager/Supervisor candidate will:
Already be a Supervisor or Duty Manager in a standalone Bar/Restaurant.
Have a good knowledge and understanding of cocktails, wines etc.
Be commercially astute and financially aware.
Be driven and focused on 5 star standards across every aspect of the operation.
Have shown loyalty and longevity throughout their career and be able to provide references.
Have strong planning and organisational skills.
Have excellent personal presentation and be consummately professional at all times.
