Event Chef – High End establishment – Richmond North Yorkshire – £32,000 – February 2020 start

Our client hosts dining events and exclusive weddings at their stylish private estate near Richmond North Yorkshire – the venue is located in a rural location so all candidates must have their own transport and full clean driving licence. Menus are individually created for each event tailored to suit each client and their catering including canapes, buffets and full sit down restaurant events for up to 150 guests.

The business has been going from strength to strength with 2019 being a great year and so looking ahead to 2020 we are now looking to recruit a full time permanent event sous chef level for this high end venue near Durham, North Yorkshire.

As Event Chef for Richmond you will be responsible for the overall running of the kitchen, delivering:
  • consistent quality fresh seasonal food – 3AA rosette level
  • a strong understanding of seasonality
  • an organised and efficient approach
  • capable of multi tasking
  • delivering and executing sit down dinners, canape parties and events up to 250 guests
  • efficient ordering and good stock controls
  • an understanding of food costs
All suitable event chef candidates must have a proven background and experience of delivering events, working under a pressurized time constraint and be used to multi tasking. You will be creative as each menu is bespoke and you will be used to cooking everything from fresh 100% nothing in bought in!
